چکیده

Passive radiative cooling technology has attracted much attention for its ability to obtain “free” by heat exchange between objects on earth and outer space through atmosphere window. However, most of the existing materials are prepared in form thin films, which limits application building since films lacking scalability various shapes. In this paper, we a paint (RCP) with acrylic resin as substrate, mixed ploymethylpentene (TPX), silicon dioxide (SiO 2 ). The emissivity 0.87 reflectively 0.92 is achieved window (i.e., 8-13 μm) solar spectrum 0.2-2.5 μm), respectively. To further indicate potential proposed RCP applications, two-floor single-family house modeled using EnergyPlus. energy saving applying different surfaces envelope analyzed, influence factors discussed detail. results show that significantly can be buildings painted all roofs walls) annual consumption decreased 15.8-31.2% comparing typical walls located at five climate zones China.

Investigation on the Energy Saving Potential of Using a Novel Dew Point Cooling System in Data Centres

Information technology (IT) has brought significant changes in people’s lives. As an important part of the IT industry, data centres (DCs) have been rapidly growing in both the number and size over the past 40 years. Around 30% to 40% of electricity consumption in DCs is used for space cooling, thus leading to very inefficient DC operation. To identify ways to reduce the energy consumption for ...

Potential of Utilizing Different Natural Cooling Sources to Reduce the Building Cooling Load and Cooling Energy Consumption: A Case Study in Urumqi

Generally, Central Asia is typical for regions with strong solar radiation and various natural cooling sources. The heat gain from the building envelope accounts for a large part of the cooling load there. Thus, the pipe-embedded envelope is receiving attention as a semi-active system of utilizing natural energy for cooling. In this study, the performance of the pipe-embedded envelope used in U...

Energy-saving Potential Study on Telecommunication Base Station Free Cooling With a Thermosyphon Heat Exchanger in China

The energy consumption of air conditioning for a telecommunication base station (TBS) in China can be significantly decreased when an air to air thermosyphon heat exchanger is used for free cooling in low atmosphere temperature days. The model for the typical TBS in China was established and the air conditioning energy consumption was analyzed for the cities with climatic data in China. Taking ...
